FAIRFEST PARADE
SATURDAY JULY 17, 2010

Parade Begins at 10:00 A.M. 

The Fairfest Parade will be on Saturday, July 17th. We invite everyone with a float, car or horse and buggy to join us for the fun filled activities. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the City Parking Lot at 3rd & Hastings Avenue. We ask that you enter the parking lot from the Hastings Avenue entrance. All entries will need to be ready and in front of the registration table before you will be assigned an entry number. We ask this of you so that we can pull you directly into line with the other parade participants.

The parade will start at 10:00 a.m. The parade route takes you East on 4th Street, South to St. Joseph Ave., West on 2nd Street, North on Lincoln Ave. and West on 6th Street to Russ's Market. As a co-sponsor of the parade Russ's Market will be serving hotdogs and other refreshments to everyone. There will also be games and prizes for all to enjoy after the parade.

If you would like to participate in the parade you may fill out an entry form and return it to the fairgrounds office by July 15th. You are also welcome to come to the City Parking Lot the morning of the parade where we will have blank entry forms at the registration table that you can fill out at that time. Forms can be obtained in advance through the fairgrounds office by calling 402-462-3247 or 888-462-3247 or stop by 947 S. Baltimore Ave., Hastings, NE 68901.

This year registration forms are being made available on line. Please submit the form no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 15th. Due to time limitations any forms submitted after this date and time will not be brought to the parade staging area and you will be asked to fill out new paperwork at the registration table the day of the parade.
