2009 Oregon Trail Rodeo Queen Tia Mohling
2009
Miss Oregon Trail Rodeo Queen, Tia Mohling of Glenvil is the daughter of
Brett and Heather Mohling. She is a freshman at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln
where she is majoring in Animal Science and plans to pursue a career in the
field of Veterinarian Medicine. She is an active member of the university’s
rodeo club and also actively involved in her church, volunteering as a Sunday
school and bible school teacher. Tia loves to train and ride horses and has
always enjoyed competing in the various events of the equestrian world. She is
also a leader in her 4-H club and enjoys helping the younger members with their
horses as well as helping with the therapeutic riding members. Tia would
finally like to thank her committee, her parents, and everyone else who has
helped and supported her along the way. She is excited and honored to represent
the Hastings PRCA Oregon Trail Rodeo for the next year and invites everyone to
join her in
OREGON TRAIL RODEO QUEEN PAGEANT
Hastings will hold its19th Annual Oregon Trail Rodeo on September 3, 4, & 5, 2010. In conjunction, there will be a Rodeo Queen Pageant. This Pageant is open to all single girls between the ages of 15-22 years of age, (as of August 1st). All contestants must provide their own horse for the duration of the rodeo. A different horse may be used for the horsemanship competition and rodeo grand entry if you so desire. Each contestant will need to submit a billfold size picture of themselves with their application. DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES WILL BE AUGUST 1, 2010.
